Oh, totally awesome... it feels like something right out of a dream.

I really love the way that you added the thick black border, as I think it frames the picture beautifully and somehow adds to the quiet/eerie mood. Really incredible shot and one that I am faving without a doubt. ^.^ :+fav:

Wonderful blue light. The outlines of the bare trees against the sky are just so delicate!

It has great potential.
But I think the moon (is it?) only ruins it for the photo.
Great eye leading with the top of the trees only lacks a bit of sharpness, have you tried to sharpen it?
And it also bothers me that the left lower part is darker and has a larger object in it then on the right lower corner.

Overall it is a great photograph.
Keep the good work :)

Thankyou, I appreciate some honest crit. It is indeed the moon, it was taken at 6.12pm on january the 3rd. I have sharpened it a little in c1pro, but I think it was just a little too blurry in the 1st place, maybe a tad more effort should have gone into this one :)

thanks man, was actually almost pitch black when taking this pic, the moon was the only light around but with a 30 second exposure its kinda burnt out a bit :o

would be nice if it was a tiny bit sharper, but other than that the cold night is perfectly portrayed by the camera.
